As I said to my father's familly (and got in nice trouble for):
Cite me the lines in the Bible that say homosexuality isn't accepted by "God" and I'll listen to you, if not (please) keep quiet and show tolerance

Same opinion for me.  I tolerate gay and lesbian people.  One more reason : I have a lesbian cousin.

Also apparently there was this 2020 Summit in Canberra devised by K. Rudd where 1000 people discuss options for Australia's future etc. and decide on new ideas... the topics brought forward left a lot uncovered (especially in the range of infrastructure) and what I don't understand is that K. Rudd said he had all these plans for the country back in Nov '07 when 52% of us voted him in, yet he comes out and asks for ideas to implement and his promises get ignored...? There is also talk of us becoming a republic...

I agree with Bloods and IC's comments about the gay issue, but what I also don't get is why they contacted the media before going to the school council themselves first... then the issue would have been solved quicker without widespread knowledge of the verdict, and even they could have kept quiet and taken their partners to the formal anyway without asking  B) the school can't exactly kick them away from their formal just because of the person they took to it!

I have a quick question on your opinion on the word 'Station' when being used with landmarks and bus stations and train stations etc. Normally I assume the 's' in station would be capitalised because it is a noun, but in a new bus station opening in 2 weeks in Brisbane CBD they spelt it with a small 's' and all the other letters were capitalised (King George Square station) it just looks wierd and wrong IMHO. What do you think?

Please note, these images are not mine and are from here:

Yet in London it's spelt with an 'S' (from above source as well)

I know it is a small thing and it is a great facility, but it just looks distracting each time I see it, it just looks grammatically incorrect and plain wierd!

What do you think?

In London, it's actually part of the name, therefore the Capital letter
I suppose that King Saint George's is a place and that it's station because it's not part of the name :)

Someone putting in a water pipeline on the Gold Coast accidentally severed a fibre in the ground that connected Queensland to the outside world, so our whole state had no internet, phones, mobiles etc. coverage as the main carrier affected was Optus, which also owns some smaller companies which people use.

Many people upset with no phone to use (emergency number 000 still worked as they are with telstra) and many business lost money from people not being able to ring up and EFTPOS not working either.

Basically a hectic day here, things were fixed up at 2pm though  :D but the main question is why we only have 1 line to the outside world and none more  :o

I finally finished testing my phpBB3 style under IE6 and IE7 to make it compatible !

You can view it there : http://ishimaru-design.servhome.org/tests/phpBB3/index.php
test user logins : testuser + test00

This is a sample forum, and this style will be available for self-service with a download link, just like my phpBB2 ones, so it won't be ID's next skin unless I adapt it for CB (yeah, Nessa asked me this question).

Most pics are in PNG format, and I've gotten sorted out about patching IE6's flaw with a JS for <img /> elements (yeah, the good old pngfix.js), and an extra stylesheet for backgrounds (since the JS patches who manage backgrounds have compatibility problems).

If you have a phpBB3, you can test it with this test package : http://ishimaru-design.servhome.org/divers/pro_ubuntu_beta5.zip

And for those who wonder how I could test with both IE6 and IE7, type "Multiple IEs" on google.
